Michael Krasny’s Forum program on KQED, the NPR affiliate in Northern California, featured ILSR’s Stacy Mitchell in a panel discussion titled: The Decline of Shopping Malls.  From the page:

The paradigm of shopping local and dense urban communities versus that of the ever evolving retail venues and ‘bargain shopping’ are stark.

The ultimate arbiter of this debate will be us. Hopefully we will not decide that our identity is the "consumer" and that the mall (and shopping) is the place that we deem to be the center of our lives.

Keep up the fight.
